Per Governor Kim Reynolds recommendation, Central City Community School District is closed beginning March 16, 2020. Currently school is set to resume on April 13, 2020. Meet Mrs. Sheriff

This is Mrs. Sheriff's second year at Central City Schools as a professional school counselor! She graduated from the University of Iowa in 2017 with her master's in school counseling. She went to college at the University of Northern Iowa where she majored in elementary education and minored in psychology. She grew up in Cedar Rapids.

Mrs. Sheriff is married, has a new son, a Labrador Retriever named Zeke.  In her free time, Mrs. Sheriff enjoys reading, spending time with her friends and family, going on walks, and trying out new restaurants. 

Mrs. Sheriff is very excited to start the new school year, build relationships with students, parents, and staff, and provide support in the areas of academic achievement, career/college readiness, and social/emotional development.
